Focusing on details and external reinforcement instead of on action – releasing the focus and seeing the bigger picture.

Criticism occurs when you have a task, but instead of executing and completing it, you deal with its minutest details. This preoccupation with details creates internal unrest. You feel that in order for you to regain your inner peace and confidence, you must look to external sources for the information contained within the details.

This approach is incorrect, since it does not allow you to act from a safe place. This is not the time for understanding, but for action!!!

The correct way to deal with it is to let go of your need for details, and look at the bigger and broader picture. From there you may regain your inner peace thereby making you more productive in achieving your goals.

There are five known types of criticism.
