External gratification due to lack of internal gratification - acknowledging the need and being free of it.

Addiction is a behavioral pattern originating from one of two sources:

  1. A potentially innate trait
  2. The execution of the potentially innate trait

Addiction is caused by you wanting to create perfection in order to feel good about yourself. By striving for perfection you create a burden for yourself and hardship in your life.

You may deny your addiction and believe that you have the power to overcome it, but in actual fact you cannot, and ultimately you understand that without external help you cannot overcome your addictive tendencies. The addiction has caused you to need external gratification instead of relieving the feeling of emptiness with self-satisfaction.

In order to overcome addiction, you must:

  1. Recognize your addition
  2. Agree to overcome it

Once you are filled with a sense of internal completeness, you may give up any and all types of external addictions.

There are five known types of addiction.

You will find more information about each of the five types of addiction in the Unblock application. To access this information, please register on the site and subscribe to the application
